Artificial Intelligence Notice: ISA prohibits the entry of any ISA intellectual property (“ISA IP”), including standards, publications, training or other materials into any form of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, such as ChatGPT. Additionally, creating derivatives of ISA IP using AI is also prohibited without express written permission from ISA’s CEO. In the case of such use, ISA will suspend a licensee’s access to ISA IP, and further legal action will be considered. Scope

This committee shall address design of transmitter and transducer installations for Nuclear Applications by preparing consensus standards, recommended practices, papers, and other documentation that will extend the knowledge and use in this area.

Purpose

The purpose of this committee is to identify, define, establish, and publish requirements and recommendations for the installation of transmitters and transducers and their auxiliary equipment for nuclear applications.

A Word from the Chairman

Chairman Bill Barasa reports that the standard ISA-67.01.01-2002 (R2007), Transducer and Transmitter Installation for Nuclear Safety Applications, is under review for revision.
