Lou Verduzco

Lou Verduzco has over 27 years of instrumentation and control systems experience. He brings his knowledge to ISA from a wide range of industries including petrochemical, chemical, water and wastewater. His background includes serving as an instrumentation technician at Shell Oil for 7 years, and as a field service technician and project engineer for a control systems integrator for 13 years performing control system design, programming, start-up, commissioning, and training duties for dozens of projects, and is a Certified iFix Instructor. Lou currently works as an Instrumentation Specialist for CDM, an environmental engineering consulting firm in Walnut Creek, California. He has presented at AWWA and at ISA's Automation West conferences, and has authored technical papers on fieldbus instruments, including co-authoring InTech magazine's July 2004 cover story "Smart Water; Intelligence moves plant from preventive to predictive maintenance". Lou received his ISA CAP Certification in 2005, and is a Senior Member of ISA.
