Bill Lydon

Bill Lydon started his career in the machine tool industry and moved to Johnson Controls in the engineering group at the beginning Johnson's automation business.  Bill progressed from engineering to marketing and sales.  Along the way he was a member of a five person skunk works for two years that developed new architectures and Direct Digital Controllers.

Bill is a business development consultant working with various companies in the controls and automation field. In addition Bill is the Managing Director for PLCopen North America.

After leaving Johnson he confounded and ran an industrial & process control software company through first round venture funding.  The company developed advanced industrial and process automation software.

In addition Bill facilitates groups to solve problems and identify opportunities.  Bill was trained as a group facilitator at the Creative Education Foundation, University of Buffalo.
