Description:
Everyone has a good Leak Detection And Repair (LDAR) program until audit time. The ultimate test for any LDAR program is passing an audit from the state, federal, corporate, or any third-party auditors. Third-party auditing is currently being put into effect by some states and will most likely be required by everyone in the near future.
This course will help prepare you for the things that auditors look for and improve your preparation for when your audit does happen. It covers what the rules require, how to meet these requirements, and how to minimize or eliminate situations that have potential to become issues.
You will be able to:
- Identify equipment applicable to regulations
- Recognize the most effective approach to fugitive monitoring
- Describe how equipment reliability can affect the outcome of an audit
- Identify a tracking system for preventative maintenance
- Use piping drawings to evaluate common process issues
- Apply Method 21 in depth as it is referred to as the "Bible" for LDAR
- Recognize and survive an unannounced audit without going into shock
