The Parts & Inventory Module has just been released for version 5.7 of the popular ProCalV5 Calibration & Maintenance Quality Management software. A comprehensive list of new features have been developed and integrated within the existing maintenance management work order functionality to further enhance the paperless experience. Some include the ability to Create master parts inventory in the centralized database, establish minimum on-hand re-order quantities, auto-remind for re-order, create requisitions for purchasing, establish or relocate parts to physical locations, assign average calculated costs to work in progress, create Bill of Materials & assign to work orders and more. Special compatibility functions were engineered to allow complementary field use with the program’s full feature off-line Mobile Workstation option. Among the many user benefits achieved are cost savings, convenience and improved configuration control for work flow optimization.
