From Russia with kudos

Anatoly Ovodenko, ISA Russian Federation Headquarters chair, received the high Russian Federation award, the Order for Services to the Fatherland-IY Degree, from former Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin in April. The ISA Russian Federation Headquarters serves instrumentation, systems, and automation professionals and practitioners in Russia by providing an essential source of information, training, networking, and other career resources to help them do their jobs more effectively and efficiently.

Ovodenko is the rector at the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, a center of training and upgrading skill levels in engineers, programmers, managers, economists, and lawyers.

A total of 54 famous Russians also received state awards and titles, including figures from science, culture and the arts, doctors, teachers, and representatives of industry and agriculture.
