The International Society of Automation (ISA) — the leading professional society for automation — announced that, effective 30 June 2026, it has assumed certain assets of the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA International), including MESA International’s educational programs and content, as MESA International ceases operation.
This transfer helps ensure continued stewardship of educational resources and industry content developed through MESA International over many years.
“MESA International has made meaningful contributions to industry education and knowledge sharing,” says Claire Fallon, CEO of ISA. “We were honored to have been contacted by that organization’s leadership to accept MESA content and programming. MESA has served as a valuable venue for manufacturing professionals for three decades, and ISA is pleased to continue supporting the broader industrial community.”
“We are pleased that ISA has agreed to serve as the new home for MESA's assets, content and community,” said Khris Kammer, chairman, MESA International. “ISA is a global tax-exempt organization whose standards, including ISA-95 and ISA-88, form the technical foundation of much of MESA's educational work. We could not have found a more aligned and capable organization to carry MESA's legacy forward.”
ISA will assume MESA International’s educational programs and content and will provide additional information regarding access, availability and future plans through ISA channels. MESA members will be given an opportunity to transfer their membership to ISA on a complimentary basis through the end of 2026, should they wish.
ISA encourages members of the MESA community and other interested stakeholders to visit isa.org for updates and related resources.
