ISA announces Stratus Technologies as an ISA Partner
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina USA (03 May 2018) - The International Society of Automation (ISA) announced today that Stratus Technologies, a global provider of continuous availability solutions for mission-critical applications, is an ISA Promotional Partner.
Stratus, based in Maynard, Massachusetts, has been providing technology platforms that keep business critical applications running 24/7 for more than 35 years. The company's hardware and software solutions proactively prevent unplanned downtime and maintain data integrity, both in the data center and at the edge.
The company develops industrial automation solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), life sciences, manufacturing, the power industries, and the oil and gas, water-wastewater, and food and beverage sectors.
Under the partnership agreement, Stratus will work with ISA to co-develop a range of informational and promotional resources, including: ad inserts within ISA's bi-monthly InTech magazine; and a diverse range of online and e-newsletter ads, video alerts, and ebook sponsorships delivered on and through Automation.com, ISA's online publisher of automation-related content.
"We are excited to be partnering with ISA to further educate the industrial automation and control systems industry on the value that Stratus products can bring to their environments," said Eric-Jan Schmidt, vice president of marketing for Stratus. "From process to discrete manufacturing, Stratus provides the solutions to modernize and reduce the complexity of industrial control systems. With ISA's commitment to the industrial automation and control industry, this partnership will help bring our message to this critical market."
"The partnership brings together two organizations committed to the viability and protection of industrial automation and control systems," says Jennifer Infantino Halsey, ISA's Director of Marketing & Communications. "ISA's worldwide leadership in industrial automation and control systems cybersecurity and training is underscored by the global acceptance of the ISA/IEC 62443 series of security standards. Stratus hardware and software technologies are designed to improve the operating reliability, efficiency and management of these systems.
"Given the vital role industrial automation and control systems play in critical infrastructure and modern manufacturing," Halsey continues, "we expect our members, customers, and other stakeholders will benefit from learning about solutions like these."
