    Speaking at the event will be Jordan Rader, Ph.D., a nuclear engineer at Holtec International. Holtec International is developing an innovative Small Modular Reactor—the  SMR-160—that the company expects  will provide safe, dependable, carbon-free power to domestic and global energy markets.

    Dr. Rader is involved with thermal-hydraulic design of several aspects of the reactor, including the core, the reactor coolant system, engineered safety features, and the integrated containment system. He joined Holtec International’s SMR Division in 2013. He holds bachelor of science (2008), master of science (2009), and doctorate (2013) degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology, all in nuclear engineering.
