Ruth Sikorski

In advancing aerospace science and technology, The Air Force Research Laboratory Aerospace Systems Directorate brings together world-class facilities including a fuels research facility, structural testing labs, compressor research facility, rocket testing facilities, supersonic and subsonic wind tunnels, flight simulation lab, and many other cutting-edge research labs.

Sikorski is also highly engaged in ISA, serving in numerous leadership positions at the district, division and section levels.

Sohail Iftikhar

Sohail-Iftikhar.jpgSohail Iftikhar is Global Business Development Manager at Honeywell, a Fortune 100 company that invents and manufactures technologies and also serves as an ISA corporate partner. Iftikhar recently joined Honeywell from INTECH Process Automation, where he served as Business Development Manager.

Iftikhar's well-rounded international experience, strong engineering education and long-standing involvement at ISA provide him the right skills to be a successful sales person. He currently serves as vice president of ISA's Houston Section and will assume the role of president beginning July 2014. Iftikhar also serves as the Director-elect of ISA's Process Measurement and Control Division and is a member of the ISA Chemical & Petroleum Industries Division.

Matthew Conklin

Matthew-Conklin.jpgAn experienced chemical process engineer and automation engineer, Matthew Conklin is the DeltaV Technology Leader at MAVERICK Technologies, the largest independent systems integrator in North America. In his position, Conklin provides both automation and process improvement consultation and services to MAVERICK clients.

Conklin also serves as Director of ISA’s Chemical and Petroleum Industries Division (ChemPID). Among the many duties he performs in this leadership role are: managing the division’s annual budget; coordinating services and programs for the benefit of the division’s 6,000-plus members; and overseeing division activities, such as symposia, scholarships, technical webinars and newsletters.

Cyrus Taft

Cyrus-Taft.jpgCyrus Taft is President of Taft Engineering, which provides consulting services—primarily regarding boiler control systems—to the power industry. He possesses decades of experience working with boiler and turbine control systems.

Taft actively contributes to ISA by managing the Society’s Power Industry Division (POWID) website and symposium web pages, and by serving as member and Chair of the ISA77.30 Dynamic Performance of Power Plant Control Systems Committee.
