Description
Recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to the industry and/or profession to advance automation.
Criteria
The individual's vision has fostered a paradigm shift that has advanced automation, or their leadership has created and/or promoted initiatives that have had a sustained impact on the profession, and the contributions and innovations have enhanced social value.
Nomination Process
Candidates are identified, evaluated, and recommended by a subcommittee of the H&A Committee. When deemed appropriate by the subcommittee, candidates may be recommended to be granted Honorary Membership in conjunction with receipt of the award.
Administration and Judging
Recommendation of the H&A Committee is submitted to the Executive Board for approval.
