• ISA75.11, Control Valve Flow Characteristics and Rangeability


    Scope

    To define control valve inherent flow characterization and inherent rangeability, and to recommend allowable deviations from characterizations curves which are described mathematically or graphically.

    Purpose

    To establish guidelines for the user and control valve manufacturer, to promote uniformity with respect to specifying and testing for flow characteristic and rangeability.

    The committee recently approved and published the revised ANSI/ISA-75.11.01-2013, Inherent Flow Characteristic and Rangeability of Control Valves.
