ISA Saudi Arabia Section conducts educational and networking sessions

A well-organized and implemented plan by ISA Saudi Arabia Section officers has formed a knowledge-sharing powerhouse for more than 800 Saudi Arabia members and loyalists. The plan included the delivery of 11 educational and networking sessions between January and April 2015. The sessions were conducted during dinner and lunch meetings across the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The ISA Saudi Arabia Section has reached the twin industrial complexes (Jubail in Eastern Province and Yanbu in Western region) and the capital of the world oil industry:  Khobar, KSA. The sessions provided technical exchange opportunities to address major industry challenges spanning instrumentation, industrial systems, capital projects, and organizational challenges.  An additional 20 sessions are targeted by year end 2015. Moreover, the ISA Saudi Arabia Section has revamped its local website making it more effective, user friendly, and knowledge centered for all of its members.

The ISA Saudi Arabia Section has played a key role and a major contributor to ISA chapters in neighboring countries. This is reflected in the fact that the Third ISA Automation Conference & Exhibition 2015—Europe, Middle East & Africa (District 12) is occurring 26-27 May in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

As in the past, OMC has granted the ISA Italy Section a booth where information was shared about the Society and section activities along with membership benefits.

The next edition of OMC will take place in Ravenna 29-31 March 2017. For more information, visit www.omc.it. For more information on the ISA Italy Section, visit www.aisisa.it or contact Ganfranca Sanzeni at isa.italy.section@gmail.com
