    The focus of the event is to present products and technologies that can help companies improve their operations.     ISA Pulp & Paper Industry Division announces 2015 scholarship recipient

    The ISA Pulp & Paper Industry Division is pleased to award its $2000 scholarship to Garrett A. Fisher, a junior pursuing a dual major in chemical engineering and paper engineering (with a process control option) and a member of the Lee Honors College at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Fisher, who holds a GPA of 3.89, is on course to graduate in May 2017.

    ISA Sertaozinho strives to bring together engineers, technicians, students, teachers and sales executives, working directly as well as indirectly to the field of automation, to leverage their knowledge and skills to improve and advance modern society.

    ISA District 14 announces Automation India Week 2015, a five-day conference and exhibition focused on the latest developments in automation technology in various industry segments, including power generation, food, life sciences, oil and gas, metal, infrastructure, robotics, automobile and factory as well as process automation. By encouraging synergies in automation technologies among industry professionals in India, the event is regarded as highly unique.

    The ISA Montana Section is conducting its 2015 Control System Conference and Vendor Exhibit 25-26 August at the Holiday Inn Grand Montana. The event, which includes training, provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the new developments in the field of industrial instrumentation and control. The conference is open to all persons interested in instrumentation.

    The event’s vendor exposition will feature the latest product offerings from a wide range of instrumentation supplier representatives that serve Montana and surrounding states. The attending vendors are eager to work with you to find a solution to your instrument applications.

    The ISA Montana Section will provide lunch during the conference for all registered guests. A section meeting will be held on Monday, 24 August at 4 p.m. in the exhibition area to discuss updates and happenings within the local section. All current ISA members are invited to the section meeting.

    This year’s event includes an optional golf tournament (scramble format) beginning at 4:30 p.m. (shotgun start) on Tuesday at the Eagle Rock Golf Course. Dinner will follow at 6:30 p.m. Bring your clubs for all the fun and enjoy a relaxing dinner at Eagle Rock after the round.

    Students and instructors from Montana Tech, Montana State University (MSU), MSU-Northern and Bismarck State will be admitted at NO CHARGE to the conference with a valid college ID of the previous semester.

    Again, the conference is open to all persons interested in instrumentation so please invite your peers and co-workers at your company. Proceeds from the ISA-Montana Conference are used to provide scholarships for students studying at Montana Tech, MSU, and MSU-Northern in instrument/electrical curriculums.
