    ISA's Crescent Bend Section cordially invites you to be an exhibitor at the 46th Annual Instrumentation Exhibit.

    A 10'x10' booth space costs only $400. The fees collected will be used to help fund the Crescent Bend scholarship program and to provide refreshments and a barbecue dinner for all exhibitors and exhibit participants.

    In order to facilitate the registration process, please fax or email a completed registration form as soon as you make plans to participate. This will hold your booth space(s) until we receive your final payment. Payment should be submitted no later than 12 February 2019.

    Booth assignments will be made through a random drawing and will be printed in the exhibit program booklet that is to be handed out to show participants. Exhibitors whose applications are received after 19 February will not be featured in the exhibit program booklet. Also, the Internal Revenue Service prohibits direct sales on the exhibit floor.

    The exhibit area will be open to participants from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., with exhibitor registration and set-up scheduled to start at 11 a.m. We will supply 120 VAC, 60 HZ power. Exhibitors are responsible for supplying their own instrument air.

    College Student Recruitment

    ISA's Tampa Bay Section is promoting student participation in the section by encouraging area academic institutions to establish ISA student chapters and membership. Section board members have established regional contacts at schools in the Ft. Myers and Orlando areas, and are in the process of supporting Engineers Week and other STEM initiatives. A PowerPoint presentation is being developed to assist outreach efforts.

    Cybersecurity Technical Meeting in Santiago and Algeciras (Spain)

    It's no secret that industrial cybersecurity is a hot industry topic these days. Technical meetings on industrial cybersecurity were held recently in Santiago and Algeciras (Spain) with the help of the local ISA student sections. David Ascarza of Emerson served as the meeting speaker. He explained the main concepts of OT security and highlighted progress made in protecting industrial control systems.

    Technical Meeting on Energy Efficiency

    Jordi Martinez (Weidmuller) discussed several topics-including new IEC norms on quality of electricity, network disturbances, and software and hardware solutions-at a recent technical conference sponsored by ISA's Spanish Section. The conference was followed by a debate involving attendees.

    Holistic Energy Management in Manufacturing

    ISA's Maharashtra Section organized a holistic workshop on 8 December 2018 at the Abbott Hotel, Vashi. The esteemed speaker was B. E. Kushare, Ph.D., who is a certified energy auditor.
