The FL WLAN 1101 wireless module combines access point and antenna technologies in a single housing. It is mounted like an antenna directly to the machine, mobile vehicle, or control cabinet, saving space within the cabinet. Two internal antennas with multiple-input, multiple-output technology provide coverage. This eliminates the cost of external antenna systems and simplifies the WLAN connection to the machine.
The WLAN 1101 is mounted using a single-hole assembly connected to the system via standard power and RJ45 Ethernet connectors. It is suitable for industrial environments and is shock-proof, according to IK08, so it can withstand strong mechanical loads.
The company's industrial wireless LAN (IWLAN) portfolio now includes a selection of IP65 protection-rated devices in the form of Scalance W778-1 M12 access points and W738-1 M12 client modules. These access points and client modules transmit in compliance with IEEE 802.11n, and support the 2.4- and 5-GHz frequency bands. The devices can also be integrated into the TIA environment, and are suited for wireless local networking of equipment, such as welding robots or screw driving controllers in the automotive industry.
The access points and client modules can be installed in harsh industrial environments. The exterior has a rugged die-cast aluminum housing compliant with protection rating IP65 and screwed plug connectors, which gives the devices resistance to shocks and vibrations. The installation options include a flat DIN rail mounting with a DIN rail adapter, a vertical side DIN rail mounting with an angular adapter, or wall mounting. The power and data flow can be connected to the IP65 devices over a single cable using Power-over-Ethernet IEEE 802.3at.
The NCA-1020 is a desktop appliance empowered by Intel Celeron Processor N3010 for deployment at edge environments, branch offices, and retail surroundings. Besides the low power consumption and decent processing capability, NCA-1020 also provides necessary I/O functionality for edge computing, multiservice gateways, VPN routers, and CPE applications.
The process comes with security mechanisms, including an Intel AES-NI instruction set for network security. For memory, NCA-1020 supports one DDR3L socket up to 8 GB. Other I/O functionality includes USB 3.0/2.0 ports, an HDMI display port, a mini mSATA storage socket, a TPM module, and an optional SSD drive bay as the main storage (SKU A).
The company’s wireless sensing and monitoring products include a gateway, universal transmitter, and a selection of measurement sensors. The communication transmission is 900 MHz, and it is license free. The self-configuring communication network is plug and play and does not require wireless experience.

The gateway has standard Ethernet output and supports more than 200 transmitters from 5,280 feet away. The transmitter has a replaceable battery and accepts up to three universal sensor inputs and a mix of any sensor measurement types.
