Name *: PanaTeQ: Single-Board computer
Description *:
The VPX3-ZU1 is an expandable single-board computer on a 3U (100 by 160 mm) OpenVPX-compatible board. In the device, the Zynq UltraScale+ integrates a quad-core 1.5-GHz 32/64-bit ARM Cortex-A53-based application processing unit, a dual-core ARM Cortex-R5-based real-time processing unit, an ARM MALI-400-based graphic processing unit, and a large programmable logic array. The device also has on-chip memory, external memory interfaces, and a set of peripheral connectivity interfaces.
The VPX3-ZU1 includes an FPGA mezzanine card connector, allowing the board to be targeted to specific applications by fitting it with any compatible front-end I/O interfaces. The FMC site is compliant to the Vita 57.1 HPC standard and includes 90 single-ended I/O (45 differential pairs) and 10 multi-gigabit transceivers. The multiple cores and programmable logic can operate together to resolve embedded computing challenges in applications, such as software-defined radio, image processing, target detection, EW/ISR, advanced multi-axes motor controller, and LIDAR/RADAR/SONAR.
The VPX3-ZU1 comes equipped with 2- or 4-GB 64-bit of DDR4-2400 RAM with ECC dedicated to the ARM cores, and 512 MB or 1 GB of 16-bit of DDR4-2400 RAM dedicated to the programmable logic. Coupling the RAM to the programmable logic makes the board suitable for data streaming applications, such as video CODEC and real-time signal/image processing applications. The SPM 401 series stainless-steel, media-isolate pressure sensors are especially suitable for low-pressure and smaller applications. Media-isolated sensors can operate in hostile environments with the sensitivity, linearity, and hysteresis of a silicon sensor. The sensor is compatible with 316L stainless steel, a type of steel that increases corrosion resistance, improves resistance to pitting from chloride ion solutions, and provides increased strength at high temperatures. The piezo sensor chip is housed in a fluid-filled cylindrical cavity and isolated from measured media by a stainless-steel diaphragm and body.
