OSIsoft Hosts ISA Northern California Section Meeting at 23rd Annual Users Conference

Conference features industry-focused technical presentations, case studies and panel discussions

Research Triangle Park, NC (28 February 2012) - OSIsoft's 23rd Annual Users Conference will feature presentations from industry leaders, learning sessions and networking events-including an ISA Northern California Section meeting.

OSIsoft, an ISA Corporate Partner, will host its 2012 Users Conference at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square, San Francisco, California, USA, 23-26 April. ISA members will receive a special discount on registration fees for the conference.

The conference begins with focused "Day Zero" events on Monday, 23 April. Offering attendees a unique opportunity to network with leaders, executives and users in their industries, Day Zero features seven different tracks - Renewables; Oil/Gas and Petrochemical; Metals, Mining and Metallurgy; Sustainability; Power Generation; ISA's Northern California Section Meeting; and a WBF workshop.

"As the PI System community continues to grow and diversify, groups with different needs and interests emerge," said OSIsoft VP of Marketing Jon Peterson. "Day Zero offers attendees a chance to immerse themselves in specific interest tracks, where they can network with industry leaders and peers before the conference officially begins."

ISA's track on Day Zero is open to all, regardless of conference attendance or ISA membership, and focuses on wireless standards and applications.

Tuesday, 24 April, or "Day One," kicks off the conference with insightful keynote presentations from industry leaders and OSIsoft executives. Tuesday also marks the start of breakout sessions, featuring PI System user presentations, and popular industry dinners.

Breakout sessions featuring user case study presentations will continue through Wednesday afternoon, followed by a handful of general session presentations and a closing networking reception in the evening. The popular annual charity poker tournament will also be held on Wednesday evening.

The conference concludes on Thursday, 26 April, with learning sessions on specific OSIsoft products. Session choices include: PI System 101 - Infrastructure; PI Coresight; Using PowerPivot with the PI System; Powering Your Visualizations with the PI Server; and Migrating to PI Server 2012 with PI AF and WIS.
