  • Reasons to Attend

Need a few reasons to justify time away or travel costs? Read the top 3 reasons you should attend this one of a kind event:

    1. Get educated. Continuing education is a vital part of every success formula. Learn about the newest processes, advancements in technology and techniques to save time, lower costs, increase safety and improve your business. Learn about the most advanced strategies that are working for others and find out what didn’t work, so you don’t waste your time, energy or resources.

    2. Get focused. Being around like-minded people is refreshing. Attending this conference will help you regain focus, which can greatly improve productivity. Use this opportunity to find out about new ideas or systems that can help you overcome challenges you are facing. This conference will give you a chance to learn as well as “rest and reflect.”

    3. Get inspired. Meet and network with industry experts. You will get to meet the experts face to face. It’s good to connect through email or webinars, it is better to connect on the phone, but the best way to connect is face to face, and always will be.

Along with the above reasons to attend, include the below short message to whomever needs to approve your attendance:

I am requesting your approval to attend Best calibration practices: interactive workshop, hosted by the International Society of Automation (ISA) and Beamex. As you may know, ISA is a leading nonprofit professional association of automation and Beamex is a world class manufacturer of integrated calibration solutions. I believe I will learn important information that could help us with implementing new and improved calibration strategies, ultimately improving quality and safety, while lowering costs and saving time.

The workshop will be held at the Space Center Houston in Houston, Texas on August 18th of this year. As I mentioned, I expect to learn quite a bit, and I think it is a great deal and opportunity. On top of the formal program, I am excited to meet peers that are experiencing similar challenges. I have high hopes that the informal conversations will be just as valuable as the presentations themselves. Please approve my request, so that I may register for the event, as spaces are limited.
