The Western Carolinas Section's April 2001 Meeting
The Western Carolinas Section's first meeting of 2001 was well attended. The speaker was Mr. Lou Green, of the South Carolina Electric Co-Operatives. The subject was Utility Deregulation and the California Power Situation. The presentation was stimulating. The topic generated many questions and debates over the current situation in California and what could happen in South Carolina with Deregulation.
