David Schuler of Global Detection Systems Corp will present an overview of toxic and combustible gas and flame detection systems, with an emphasis on new technologies such as battery/wireless detectors and customized human-machine interface applications software.  The presentation will include a discussion of combustible and toxic gas measurement sensor technology, toxic exposure limits and future trends.

David Schuler is CEO of Global Detection Systems Corp, located in Santa Fe, Texas.  Born in Galveston, David received a BSEE from the University of Houston and spent several years in aerospace and well logging before joining Intel Corporation in 1984.  Upon retirement from Intel in 2003, David joined GDS Corporation and was named CEO in fall of 2005.
