Improving your Process Control with Self Contained Electro-hydraulic Actuators
Dennis Betz, Rawson

Mr. Betz will be speaking on “Improving your Process Control with Self Contained Electro-hydraulic Actuators”. Pneumatic actuators suffer from problems associated with the compressibility of air, packing friction, position feedback, and sensitivity. Electro-mechanical actuators are not rated for 100% continuous duty. The solution for improving your ability to quickly and precisely position your linear and rotary control valves or dampers is through the use of self contained electro-hydraulic actuators. This technology combines the simplicity of electric operation, the power of hydraulics, the reliability of solid state electronics, and the flexibility of user configured control.
