Simon
Fridlyand, S.A.F.E.
Enginering Inc.
Simon
Fridlyand has
been a professional engineer in Ontario since 1982. He is the
president of S.A.F.E. Engineering Inc., a company specializing in
Pre-Start Health and Safety Reviews (PSRs), plant audits, machine
and robot guarding, process safety issues such as fire and
explosion safety, hazardous location classification, fire and
building code compliance, fire code audits and health and safety
training. Simon actively participated in the workings of various
standards and code committees such as NFPA, CSA, ULC, ASME, and
the Ontario Building Code.
His
teaching experience includes courses at the University of Toronto,
Ryerson University and many seminars sponsored by the Plant
Engineering & Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC),
Industrial Accident Prevention Association (IAPA), Packaging
Association of Canada (PAC) and industry. Simon has also published
many articles in industry journals including MRO Magazine and The
Canadian Institute. |
