Sylvain Millette is President of Millette Control Engineering Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University, and is a professional engineer in the province of Ontario. He has been working in the field of process control for over 20 years.
His career first started on control system projects with the engineering consulting firm H. A. Simons. He rounded out his process control troubleshooting experience with EnTech Control Engineering, another consulting firm in Toronto, Canada. He then founded Millette Control Engineering in 1992.
Throughout his career, Mr. Millette has implemented DCS control solutions, performed numerous process control variability audits and held over 100 training sessions for technicians, engineers and department managers on various aspects of process control. He has done work all over Canada, and the United States.
Sylvain has also published numerous articles in trade magazines and is an active member of the Toronto section of the ISA and has taught many courses for various sections throughout Canada and the US.
