ISA Training Courses Offered Locally

 

ISA Southeast Texas Section would like to invite all interested parties to attend the training classes listed below. For the first time in the history of our section, ISA training courses are being offered locally. The training provided in the classes are the finest the Golden Triangle area has to offer, so please don't pass up this unique opportunity.

. TC05 Understanding and Tuning Control Loops.
(2.1 CEU) 12-16 Students. 3 days.

Instructor:
Wiley Montana. Covers the principals of automatic control and the operation of the proportional, integral, and derivative control modes. Advanced concepts of cascade, ratio, and feed forward control are presented. This course is primarily lecture with one feedback loop demo and several computer simulation exercises.

TI05 Maintaining Pneumatic Control Valves, Controllers and Transmitters (2.1 CEU) 14-16 Students. 3 days.
Instructor: Manuel Garza: Installation, calibration, and maintenance of pneumatic instruments. Emphasis on valves, positioners, controllers, and transmitters. Hands-on course.

TC10 Troubleshooting Instrumentation and Control Systems (1.4 CEU) 14-16 Students. 2 days.
Instructor:
Wiley Montana
Offers a systematic approach to troubleshooting and start-up as they apply to single & multi-loop control loops. Covers how pressure, temperature, level and flow loops operate to maintain good process control systems. Basic knowledge of instrumentation is assumed. This course is completely hands-on, implementing the knowledge gained in TC05.
