6–11 June 2010, Summerlin, Nevada
We are currently in the planning stages for the 2010 Conference. Our familiar format of being an independent event will again be in place for 2010. The Conference will be held 6-11 June 2010, at the JW Marriott in Summerlin, Nevada. This event will provide power generation industry leaders with information on the latest innovations in instrumentation, automation, security and business systems technologies.
Please note : Hotel registration link at left will use a group code "ipsipsa". If you go directly to the hotel site on your own, they put in ipsipsa under the group code to get the conference hotel rate.
Each year this international conference brings together industry professionals in the Power Generation field with a primary focus on Instrumentation and Controls; the largest single event of its type. We anticipate over 50 technical papers/presentations during joint sessions with fossil and nuclear focus, presented over a 2 ˝ day period. Additional schedule items include keynote messages from industry leaders, ISA and industry training sessions, EPRI Interest Group Meeting, ISA Power Plant Standards working group meetings, Honors and Awards Banquet, and vendor exhibits by key suppliers. There will also be an Opening Night Reception. An enjoyable spouse’s program will keep your guest/spouse busy during conference hours.
This year’s location is the ultimate shopping experience, and the city’s top attractions include Red Rock Canyon, Ethel M Factory and Hoover Dam. Eleven on-property as well as several local restaurants can meet your dining desires. The Marriott is nine miles from Las Vegas Blvd (The Strip). A short 20 minute ride (19 miles) north west from McCarran Airport will get you to the Conference hotel (Please Note: The hotel shuttle does not run between the hotel and airport – only between the hotel and The Strip).

Henry S. Kenchington, Deputy Assistant Secretary for R&D in the Department of Energy's Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability.
Tim Roxey, Manager of Critical Infrastructure Protection for NERC
