Visit the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose where you can expect to test, crank, listen, prod and tinker. One of the largest museums of its kind in the nation, CDM's 150 interactive exhibits lead visitors to explore, understand and enjoy the world in which they live.

 

Hairspray, one knock-out of a musical that will have you laughing, humming, and tapping your feet the whole way through, will be at the Center for the Performing Arts (http://www.amtsj.org/shows/shows_hairspray.html) starting June 6, 2006.

 

Plan on arriving a few days early or staying a few extra days, to enjoy activities in the surrounding area.  Head south to the costal towns of Carmel and Monterey; north to San Francisco; or further north to Marin, Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino counties with beautiful coast line, wineries, golf, and many other activities.  Visit the Monterey Aquarium (http://www.mbayaq.org/), the San Francisco Zoo (http://www.sfzoo.org/), or enjoy the scenic 17 Mile Drive along the MontereyCarmel coastline, or walk on Carmel’s incredible white sand beach.
