Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful celebration and a happy holiday season. A fun time was had by those of us that attended the OC/LA Sections Christmas Event. The way some of you were dancing, I think I got a glimpse of "livin’ the vida loca". The recipient of the prestigious ISA OC Don Zee Award was Mr. Bis Mitra for his service to the Section and our industry. Speaking of Bis, he did another fantastic arrangements job this year, the facility and food were great! A very special "Thank You" goes out to the suppliers that generously support the event each year. We do appreciate it.

ISA National is starting out the new year with the ISA President’s Winter Meeting, January 14th to 19th, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I will be representing our award-winning ISA Orange County Section at the event, although Canada in the wintertime may not be a treat.

Our Section’s monthly meeting will be held on January 12th this month, with an interesting topic to start out the year. If you have any suggestions or topics you would like covered in the coming months, consider attending the meeting a letting us know. Or drop me a line with your thoughts. See you at the meeting.
