Hello, Orange County Section!  I am Troy Johnson, the incoming 1999/2000 ISA Orange County Section President.  For those of you who do not know me, here is a brief bio.  I am a Registered Professional Engineer in Control Systems and have served on the ISA Orange County Board in several positions over the years.  I have worked in our industry for suppliers, integrators, engineering firms, and currently work for Duke/Fluor Daniel as a lead control systems engineer.

In todays turbulent times, organizations such as ours face a difficult environment where meeting the needs of members is a comples task.   To survive and succeed in this new environment the skills, experience, enthusiasm and work of one person is not enough, it takes a team.  Your ISA Orange County team is the Board of Directors and Department Chairpersons.  This group of dedicated individuals is wholly responsible for the success of the Section each year and I expect the same will be true for my term.

Then Section Planning Meeting took place on June 26^th in Dana Point and was very productive.  We have a fantastic year planned with what we hope you will find to be exciting programs, interesting speakers, and revelent educational seminars.  This is your Section and we are here to serve your professional needs, so take advantage of what your Section has to offer this year.
