We had a wonderful March meeting with speaker Andrew Dominguez, Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions, giving an excellent presentation on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES-101).  Those of you who could not join us missed a very good seminar.  The April meeting will be a plant tour at Medtronics in Anaheim observing how MES has been implemented.

As a reminder, ISA has a reward program for ISA members to recruit new members.  The grand prize winner will receive a laptop computer.  The section that the winner belongs to will receive $250 and the company employing the winner will receive a complete set of ISA Standards.  Do not wait to begin recruiting new members for your section so that you can have a good chance to win the laptop.  If you have any questions, please call or e-mail me.  We will also give $25 to all Orange County members who recruit 10 new members.

We held our Second Education Seminar on February 27, 1999 at Fluor Daniel with 39 people attending.  John Gong did his usual great job in setting up and running the seminar.
