Election of 1999-2000 Officers:
President - Troy Johnson, President-Elect - Terry Sellers, Treasurer - Christine Tachdjian, Secretary - Katherine Dam
Bis Mitra opened the Meeting at 7:25 PM.
The April 14, 1999 Board meeting minutes were approved by Troy Johnson and 2nd by Earl Montgomery.
Terry submitted the monthly Treasurer Report.
Program topic for May will be on Fiber Optics. Presentation of outgoing Board members will be in May.
June Program will be the Getty Museum Tour and Picnic. The Getty reservation is for 10:30Am for 90 people and 18 cars. Arrangements must be made for carpooling. So far, 56 people have signed up.

John is putting together a third education seminar on June 12th. Subject is the Internet. Need dial out line from CN-7 to demonstrate live internet. Two sponsors have been secured.

Reference forms for the nomination of Bob Harrison for Fellow Member have been sent (four months for processing nomination).
Student Section Jim Cody
Student competition will be held on June 12th (Note: Changed to June 16th - Cal State Fullerton won and will represent Philadelphia in Philadelphia at ISA TECH/99). Communication with LA Section has been initiated. Discussion to stage the student competition at the ISA Orange County Education Seminar was discussed.

John has ben elected District 11 Vice President Elect Elect. He will begin serving as the DVP in two years.
Bob has added the Hit Count on our website. The Education Flyer/Registration is on the web site. Discussion was held to add job postings from the Chart to the Web Page.

The President's Summer Meeting will be in Scottsdale, AZ, June 19-24. Troy Johnson will attend.
The LA Section has requested a joint meeting to tour the Yorba Linda Water District. All voted in favor to conduct the joint meeting. Bis will follow up on the financial impact to conduct this joint meeting.
