  1. Membership – Don Zee / Mai Luu

Don Zee did not receive this month’s membership breakdown. Mai Luu did a report on meeting attendance. She evaluated continuing attendance of non-members. She sent an e-mail to all non-members that attended more than 2 meetings inviting them to join ISA. Response was low.

  1. Honors Awards – Carl Skokan

Reference forms for the nomination of Bob Harrison for Fellow Member have been sent. Discussion on ISA policy that references must come from other fellow or senior members only. This is quite difficult since not many other fellows are in our section. Should we allow non-members to give references? This of course leads to evaluation and honor of members from people outside the society. Shouldn’t this honor come from the member’s peers? This might be an issue to be brought up at the President’s Summer meeting.

Still need to form a committee for new officer nominations.   Current nominations: Terry Sellers - President Elect, Christine Tachdjian - Treasurer, and Katherine Dam  - Secretary.
