to The ISA Northwest Washington Section of The Instrumentation, Systems & Automation Society (formerly known as The Instrument Society of America).
We are located in and around Bellingham, Washington and serve those involved in the instrumentation and automation field.
The Instrumentation Society at their last meeting officially changed the name to better represent the interests of the Society and the fact that it is a world wide organization. Industries in our area using instrumentation and control systems include refineries, pulp and paper, chemical, primary metals, manufacturing, semiconductor, aerospace, and transportation firms, to name a few.
Our Section meetings are held monthly, September through June, usually on the second Wednesday of the month. We hold technical presentations, usually at a local restaurant, go on plant tours, and annually as a windup for the season in June, visit a recreational or entertainment spot in the area.
