February Monthly Meeting
Carl Hoffman, Project Engineer for Phoenix Contact, will be the guest speaker for the Las Vegas Section's February meeting. Carl has been the Program Chair for ISA-Orange County Section since last July. As a Project Engineer for Phoenix Contact, he is tasked with providing services to professional organizations like AWWA, IEEE, and ISA. Mark your calendar for the 24th of February, it should be a great meeting!

UNLV Student Section
At our October meeting, the Las Vegas Section decided to move forward with starting a student section at UNLV. Mr Kevin Forcade of the UNLV Electrical Engineering Department has willingly donated his time and effort to make the student section happen at UNLV. We are very excited to have such an endeavor at UNLV and this opportunity shows that the Las Vegas is on the move. The Student Section members will get many of the same benefits the regular members receive, with the added benefits of reduced membership fees, various local and national scholarships, and yearly student "games".
