He will also add a link to jobs available for instrument related fields. We are considering ways to make people more aware of our organization through the internet, on places like Facebook, Myspace, Linkedin as a few examples.
Guy will work with Chuck to get a list of industry HR people and send them letters advertising our site as a place to look for job applicants.
Treasurer – Jason not present due to schedule conflict
Secretary- Pete will e-mail copies of the scholarship winner and address to Jason and Jeff so the checks can be mailed out. Pete will mail letters informing all section members of the up coming meeting, “Focus on Energy”. He will include a reminder to update their personal information on the ISA member web site.
Scholarships – Jeff Chambelin suggested we look at ways to ensure that the scholarship money goes to students in control type fields more closely related to ISA. Jeff will get a list of school sites that post job openings for students and forward it to Chuck and Guy.
News Letter Editor- Steve Patterson not present due to schedule conflict.
John presented an overview of the Council of Delegated meeting that he attended. District Six had a representative from all ten sections.
