Message from the ISA Fox River Valley Section President:

2007 will be an exciting year for the local ISA Section. We ended 2006 with a wonderful presentation on Wireless Networks from Walt Boyes – Editor in Chief – Control Magazine. Our focus this year will be to continue to provide educational subject matter for our members. Our meetings this year will cover topics on Cyber Security, Project Management, Instrumentation, Control Systems, as well as the annual ISA Golf Outing.

Our board meets once a month and we have a solid leadership team. We are also in the process of recruiting new leaders for the Fox River Valley Section. Overall, with a number of mergers, acquisitions, as well as process area and plant shutdowns, many skilled individuals have retired or moved on to other professions. These changes as well as the continuing changes in technology have made an organization like ISA even more important today.
