ISA changes its name

The  ISA’s Council of Society Delegates voted in their annual meeting in Houston yesterday  (15th Oct) to change the organization’s name to “International Society of Automation” by an overwhelming majority.

Safety Seminar
The England section will in conjunction with the Institution of Measurement and Control be holding  seminar on 23rd October.

Presentations will cover core competency for a safe system according to IEC61508 and IEC61511

The Hosts are Yokogawa UK Ltd, Runcorn.

President's Dinner  2007

A very successful  2007 Presidents Dinner was held on Friday 30th Nov 2007 at the Palace Hotel Manchester. The guests were entertained by singer Steve Bayliss and the disco had many people on the dance floor until late.
