BACKGROUND
The Downeast section of ISA is dedicated to serving
companies and individuals involved with Instrumentation Systems and
Automation. As with any organization, funding is needed to operate
and to provide services to our membership. In the past a
"Vendor's Day" event was held every two years as a major
fundraiser for the Downeast section. The attendance at this event has
gone steadily down, creating a burden on the vendors who are
supporting us. The section is now offering an alternative to Vendor's
Day that we feel will help bring the end users in contact with their
suppliers. To be successful, the vendor advertisement web page must
be recognized by the end users as a resource page to find the
products and services that they use in their day-to-day operations.
We hope to accomplish this by listening to those who are using the
site and tailoring it to meet their changing needs. The second key
ingredient to the vendor advertisement web page is support from the
vendors. We believe this project has genuine value to all
participants and ask for your support with mutual benefit.
OPTIONS
Three options that we are offering are: business
cards, company information/website links and banner ads. All fees
(except for banner ads) are assessed on a yearly basis.
Business card ads
will contain all of the information that you provide from the on-line
registration form for business card advertisement. This ad
classification can include an E-mail hyperlink. If submitted to the
webmaster a company logo in jpeg, bmp, or gif format will be included
in each advertisement box.
Company information ads can include a line
card, statement of experience, client references, company profile,
brochure or other documents you may wish to post about your business.
These documents will be Adobe Acrobat.pdf file so they will be in a
printable format for the end users. Documents can be converted to
.pdf format for a one time $25 processing fee per page. If the client
provides the document in .pdf format, there are no setup charges.
Links to company information and company websites will be from a
business card box, which is included with this package. Website links
will be to the company's existing website. If submitted to the
webmaster a company logo in jpeg, bmp, or gif format will be included
in each advertisement box.
Banner Ads can be used to highlight upcoming
sales, promotional offers, special events or other activities and
will be billed at monthly rate. The Banner ads will be in a scrolling
marquee format and will be seen on key pages throughout the Downeast
ISA website.
RATES
Banner Ads - $50/month
Business Cards - $100/year
Company Info/Website Links - $300/year
MULTIPLE LISTINGS
A company may choose to advertise under more than one
listing within the equipment and services classifications as long as
the information for each listing is identical. The corporate sponsor
classification is not eligible for multiple listings.
START-UP PROMOTION
The Downeast Section of ISA is offering an opportunity
for the first 10 companies that advertise at the $300 option to be
listed as both vendors and corporate sponsors. This promotion is an
effort to recognize companies that have helped to get this project up
and running. As corporate sponsorship increases the vendors will be
dropped from the corporate sponsor page on a "first in - last
out" basis.
AD CLASSIFICATIONS
The three main ad classifications are equipment
suppliers, service providers and corporate sponsors. Categories will
be further broken down within these classifications in an effort to
make it easy to navigate for our end users. The categories will be
modified to meet the changing needs of our advertising clients as
well as the end users. |
