Message from The President

Stanley Hoo, PE
Dear Fellow ISA Members:
I am pleased to accept this position as President of the ISA Central New Jersey Section.
I have been with ISA since 1989 in Philadelphia starting with educational sessions for Instrumentation Sensors and ISA Standards. Today as a licensed Professional Engineer in several states, I can look back and be thankful for the first few steps of learning about Instruments and Control Systems. There are helpful people in ISA, and I too hope to be helpful through our planning for the ISA programs for all participants.
We plan get together meetings each month as noted by our schedules for socializing, networking, and interesting presentations in and around our communities. We have educational topics on the latest technology from basic instrumentation to highly sophisticated system automation and their applications with plant tours.
Your feedback for tours and up-to-date applications help us to work with you and your needs. We are planning to be partners with organizations such as IEEE, Devry University, Princeton University, and several others to continue our improvement of plant and facility tours. Suppliers have been, and will always be wonderful in keeping us up-to-date on technological applications.
Joining us in meetings and tours of interest. Set the Standards for Automation. Get involved with our ISA groups, and help make a difference in your community and your own way of life.
Best regards,
Stanley Hoo, PE
President ISA CNJ
