Membership in the National ISA Organization is very rewarding.  If you hold a position that involves you with automation, controls and or instrumentation, you should become a member.  For $100/yr, the benefits far outweigh the annual expense and most employers (Especially those engaged in instrumentation and control) will reimburse this professional subscription.  The local Baton Rouge Section meets monthly throughout year at luncheon/dinner meetings, where a technical presentation is given.  We hold an Awards dinner banquet once per year.  There is at least one technical seminar which will take a whole day and then there is the Annual Expo that is held in conjunction with the New Orleans Section, which is usually a day-long event.

When you join ISA, you will automatically be assigned to a section that is close to the address on your membership form.  You are free to become affiliated with as many sections as you wish.  There is no fee to become a part of a section.
