What is iAU2M8? (I-Automate)

In 2008, over 400 combined middle and high school students, teachers, administrators, and chaperones stormed the halls of the Reliant Center in Houston, Texas for our first ever iAU2M8.08 event. Everyone walked away with excitement and curiosity about the Automation world.

Our second annual event, iAU2M8.09, will take place on 8 October 2009 during ISA EXPO. It’s planned totally for middle and high school science and math students located in the Houston area. It’s a fun, hands-on event where participants can:

• Hear from real-world Automation professionals about the importance of his/her “cool job in automation”
• Experience interactive, educational displays and demonstrations related to Automation
• Hit the ISA Expo show floor (nearly 300 exhibitors) to see the latest gadgets and how they work in the real world of Automation
• Take away excitement and knowledge about a future career in Automation

We need tour guides
