This course is the third in a three-part series providing students with an understanding of hydraulic power concepts and circuits. Students receive instruction in hydraulic pumps, conductors, accessories and valves, and are introduced to procedures for maintenance and safety, and troubleshooting industrial hydraulic systems.

This course provides students with a thorough understanding of industrial hydraulic components and systems.

-Types and functions of directional control valves and accumulators
-Types of hydraulic cylinders
-Operating principles and applications of hydraulic motors and how operation differs from hydraulic pumps
-Types, operating principles, and common uses of rotary actuators
-Maintenance practices that apply to the entire hydraulic system
