This course will introduce and discuss some of the different types of direct and alternating current generators and motors used in the industrial plant setting. Objectives of this course include:

-Explain the basic differences between motors and generators
-Discuss how motors and generators function and are controlled
-Understand some basic maintenance and troubleshooting technique
