Standalone or add on software module to Instrument Forms Plus Pro-Enterprise version (View product)

This software module enhances the “Instrument Forms Plus Pro - Enterprise” version software by adding instrument loop generation and conduit and cable schedules in an AutoCAD® drawing format. With this standalone or add on module, loop sheet and conduit and cable schedule can be created via the database interface and generated utilizing Autodesk’s AutoCAD® Lite software. The application provides an easy to use interface to enter junction box terminal layout, cable pair and marshaling cabinet wiring information, I/O termination, and assign the instrument tag numbers to the wire pairs. The instrument tag number is selected from a pick list and assigned to a wire pair, an instrument loop drawing can be generated in AutoCAD® format. Several pre-loaded drawing template formats are included to create one to four tags per loop on a page. An interface is also included to configure a user’s own loop templates and assign instrument loop ids. During the loop generation, information from the instrument index and document book are inserted onto the drawing that has been previously entered in the database tables. A junction box printout is included that gives a terminal strip layout, cable number and wire pair numbers from the junction box to the marshaling cabinet.

The conduit and cable schedule provides a user interface to assign conduit number and cable numbers for each conduit. When entering the wire type and conductor type and number of wires, the conduit size will be automatically determined from the National Electrical Code® tables used to properly size conduit fill.

Adding this module will compliment your instrumentation documenting system for your plant maintenance and engineering projects by providing instrument point to point wiring for each and conduit and cable schedules.
