This unique software module provides construction tracking of instrument devices as they are received in the field, calibrated, wired, punched listed, checked out and commissioned. This module utilizes the data entered into the instrument index and other displays to complete the data tracking forms included in the module. A weighting factor is assigned to an instrument’s functional id for each type of instrument activity assigned to provide a relationship and grouping for each instrument assigned in the instrument index. A date sensitive scheduling interface is provided to assign “Work Order” and “Work Packages” to groups of instruments to manage the installation, startup, punch listing and commissioning of the field instruments. All of these activities are managed with reports giving current statuses and percent complete reports for each activity. On the punch list interface, sign off forms are printed for the sub-contractor, construction manager and owner for sign-off of each instrument. Reports are include to list tabulation of all outstanding items for each instrument as well as a project percent complete report. For the commissioning phase, “verification” sign-off forms are included that allow acceptance of each instrument. A system acceptance interface to sign off on the graphics, calibration, manuals etc. is included to complete the acceptance of the instrument and control systems.
