International Society of Automation News Release
ISA Automation Week Advance Program Now Available
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA (14 June 2012) – The International Society of Automation (ISA) announced today the release of the Advance Program for ISA Automation Week: Technology and Solutions Event.
ISA Automation Week is an annual, international conference that will take place 24-27 September 2012, at the Orange County Convention Center, West Concourse in Orlando, Florida, USA. The Advance Program provides the technical conference overview, as well as:
“The ISA Automation Week technical program has been developed to demonstrate the value industrial companies can realize by driving operational excellence through their automation talent, systems and technologies,” said Dr. Peter Martin, ISA Automation Week 2012 program chair and vice president of Invensys Operations Management.
“Each of the four operational excellence tracks is designed to demonstrate how the effective application of industrial automation can drive significant business value. Industrial business executives are at a loss as to how to gain continuous business value improvements from their industrial assets,” Dr. Martin continued.
“Our two technology tracks cover the critical topics in mainstream media today—cybersecurity threats, infrastructure security, worldwide threats, governmental industrial security; and standards. These issues are the future of manufacturing; public safety relies on having knowledgeable, prepared professionals on hand to combat any security concerns that may arise,” concluded Dr. Martin.
