ISA Announces Schneider Electric as an ISA Automation Week Partner

Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA (13 July 2011) -- The International Society of Automation (ISA) announced today that Schneider Electric is an ISA Automation Week 2011 Partner. Schneider Electric is a global specialist in energy management and sustainable manufacturing, helping businesses work better, faster, more efficiently and profitably.

Schneider Electric’s high level of visibility at ISA Automation Week 2011 will allow the company to showcase its solutions to address the problems of rising electricity costs combined with lower rates of reliability and quality. Power management solutions can save businesses 25% or more on energy costs, while improving reliability, efficiency, safety, and quality.

ISA Automation Week 2011 will feature an Energy Track within the technical conference, focusing on topics like Smart Grid, alternative energies, plant retrofits, and power management. A knowledge-driven technology and solutions event designed to deliver a stimulating and highly relevant educational experience to automation and control professionals who work within continuous process, discrete, and hybrid manufacturing environments, ISA Automation Week will be held 17-20 October 2011 at the Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center in Mobile, Alabama. Information about the conference is available at the event website, www.isaautomationweek.org.

Schneider Electric will host a booth on the exhibit floor, and will present a paper on industrial energy efficiency. Schneider Electric’s solution set for the industrial environment focuses on power management systems, high density metering, energy tariff optimization, power quality mitigation, intelligent power and motor control, and renewable energy conversion.

“Enterprises with multiple sites and complex energy data often report energy as one of their most significant capital expenditures,” said Robb Dussault, offer manager at Schneider Electric. “Managing how that energy is purchased and used is of strategic importance to businesses around the world, and Schneider Electric offers engineers and plant managers in water, oil and gas, mining and metals, and other industries real solutions to their energy management challenges.”

“Energy is one of the hottest topics in industry today, and ISA Automation Week offers top-notch technical sessions focused on the latest trends in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and asset management. Solution providers like Schneider Electric will be able to network with attendees and engage in discussions about the future of the energy management field,” said ISA President H.L. “Leo” Staples.

ISA Automation Week partnership packages, which are part of the ISA Corporate Partnership Program, are limited to a small number of companies. The ISA Corporate Partnership Program offers each company a customized, tailored approach to sponsorship. The different packages allow companies to bundle ISA’s products and services with marketing opportunities, resulting in a streamlined approach to corporate support. Companies interested in learning more about partnership opportunities should contact Jennifer Infantino at + 1 919-990-9287 or jinfantino@isa.org.
