FDA Speaker Announced for ISA Process Analytical Technology Conference
Research Triangle Park, NC (23 September) – ISA announced today D. Christopher Watts, Ph.D., Team Leader, Standards and Technology for the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, as keynote speaker for the 2008 ISA Process Analytical Technology (PAT) Conference. Dr. Watts will discuss new technologies and tools in the PAT initiative.
Dr. Watts brings added insight into the conference topics through his experience with scale-up and manufacture of inhalation and oral drug products.
The PAT Conference, endorsed by the ISA Food and Pharmaceutical and ISA Analysis Divisions, will run 12-13 November 2008. The conference will be held in Arlington, Virginia.
Manufacturing professionals should attend to learn about the use of PAT in Quality by Design, and to participate in a panel discussion focused on the emerging technologies supporting PAT: Wireless, Cyber Security, and RFID.
In addition to the conference sessions, participants can attend an informative ISA tutorial covering the online tools for improving product control, quality, and stability.
