ISA Analysis Division Announces Training Course at the 53rd Analysis Division Symposium in Calgary
Research Triangle Park, NC (6 March 2008) - ISA's Analysis Division will hold its 53rd Analysis Division Symposium at the Fairmont Palliser Hotel in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, 20-24 April 2008. A unique, one-day training course entitled "Introduction to Process Analyzer Techniques,"presented by members of the Analysis Division Executive Committee, will kick off the event on Sunday, 20 April.
Topics covered in the course include basic characteristics of process "online" analyzers, similarities and differences of technologies, purpose of process analyzers, closed loop control, environmental compliance, monitoring, safety, fire prevention, oxygen depletion, and hazardous area concerns.
The symposium will feature 36 paper presentations, business meetings, vendor suites, and an annual banquet. The event is a forum for discussion of new and innovative process and other analytical techniques, developments and applications. Speakers and attendees from all over the world will participate in informal discussions and social gatherings and acquire the latest information about analytical science in industry.
