Research Triangle Park, NC (4 September 2007) -- ISA will host its second annual event for Young Automation Professionals, YAPFEST, at ISA EXPO 2007 in Houston, Texas.

YAPFEST is a must-attend event, open to young professionals and students (aged 18-30) in the automation industry. The event features opportunities to network with industry leaders, food, free beer, entertainment, and prizes.

The event will take place at the Reliant Center in Houston, Texas from
5:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, 2 October. ISA EXPO 2007, held at the Reliant Center 2-4 October, will feature keynote addresses from industry experts, lively forums and technical conference sessions, and a cutting edge exhibition.

YAPFEST attendees will enjoy music from popular local band "11th Hour,"
and participate in a drawing for an Alienware Notebook. Attendees will also receive a free conference session pass to ISA EXPO for the day of YAPFEST and a 50% off coupon for any ISA book that can be used at the bookstore at ISA EXPO.

"It's important for young professionals to have an opportunity to network with each other and with industry leaders," said ISA Director of Convention, Education, and Certification Services Dale Lee. "It's equally important to engage this generation in a dialogue about the future of the industry, and we're excited to have that opportunity through this event."
